The International Association for Perceptual Control Theory (IAPCT) Board welcomes your proposals for the 2025 conference. We invite submissions for individual presentations, workshops, symposium panel discussions, and other interactive formats.
- Abstract Submission Deadline: Saturday, May 31, 2025
- Notification of Acceptance: Mid-June 2025
- If you require earlier notification due to travel arrangements, please submit your proposal early through the form and contact us directly.
Conference Format
The conference will be held in a hybrid format, continuing our successful approach from last year. We will organize the program to cluster online and in-person presentations for optimal engagement.
Presentation Types
We welcome submissions related to Perceptual Control Theory (PCT) and Method of Levels (MOL) in the following formats:
- Results from empirical studies
- Theoretical innovations and new ideas
- Work in progress (presented in an interactive format)
- Lived experience perspectives
- Interactive workshops
Feel free to propose alternative formats, such as a panel discussion or roundtable session, around a certain topic or with a group of people.
Conference Focus
Our goal is to create a balanced and engaging program featuring both:
- Interactive and accessible presentations that encourage discussion and connection
- Concise talks highlighting the latest research findings
As an interdisciplinary conference, presenters may need to introduce audiences to their specific field. However, we assume all attendees have foundational knowledge of PCT and MOL, so please focus your presentation on your unique contribution rather than explaining basic concepts.
Submission Process
When submitting your proposal, you’ll be asked about your presentation preferences to help us construct a cohesive and engaging program.
