Ways to participate

We are an international organization. Not all of us can travel to Perth, and we live in many time zones. To be as inclusive as possible, we will organize:

  • A face-to-face pre-conference meeting in Buenos Aires City, Argentina, October 19th, 10AM-1PM.
  • An online-only pre-conference program on November 13 suitable for American and European timezones.
  • Two days in Perth, with face-to-face talks, workshops, online presentations, watch-parties and social events, November 14+15.
  • Most presentations will be prerecorded and shared online to subscribed participants before Monday 11th November.
  • Face-to-face talks and discussions will be recorded and shared with the online audience afterward.
  • Attending the conference will be free of costs.

Venue: Curtin University, Perth

Curtin University conference room

Our last three annual conferences have been successful online, using Zoom. This will be our first in-person conference since 2019 in Manchester! We anticipate strong representation by students at Curtin University. Aside from being the academic home of our own Warren Mansell, Curtin is an important research university, and the largest university in Australia, with a campus population equivalent to a mid-size city. The season will be equivalent to mid-May in the Northern Hemisphere.

Organization

This conference is organized by the iapct board: Warren Mansell, Eva de Hullu, Bruce Nevin, Hugo Christo Sant’Ana, Richard Pfau. Contact us through board@iapct.org.

Free Registration

Please subscribe to the conference for free using the registration form. Speakers and participants are both requested to use this form. Only registered participants will receive the zoom links and access to recorded sessions through email.
